Like our other lettering set it is provided at 5" high (upper case) and includes a full set of PDF files with lines marking the baseline, middle and top line of each letter as well as the center. NOTE: Despite the differences in sizes for the mazes in this series of sets, it is assumed that they will all be sewn out the same side in a block if used together. Rotating and/or flipping them makes them look like another completely different maze, and most will not recongnize the similarity. They can be used alone, or in combination with our other maze patterns in quilts for children or for Alzheimers patients. This set is provided 11" high, but due to the geometric nature of this pattern, it can be resized without any issues except for the limits imposed by your system! These 4 mazes are simple yet challenging. It just needs to be a fun quilt to drag around on the ground, nothing fancy. Hmm, I think that I may do a panel quilt with a minkee backing for the baby quilt. Next on the list is to work on a baby quilt for a friend's baby boy and then get back to the piecing on the Fractured quilt. That's it for charity quilts for right now. Remember them? It's pretty but it really needed a sharp needle when I hand stitched the matching binding on it.
The burgundy rose fabric is a poly blend from the 80s from the Peter Pan company. I chose a mid-tone rose colored cotton thread to complement the pink sashing and the burgandy border. This way it just gives a bit of texture and will be a warm quilt to hand out to a local charity. There were too many colors going on for anything else to really show up well. Meander is a nice pattern to use when you just want something done quickly. Another charity sampler quilt was completed with an allover meander quilting pattern on the longarm.
